When you have heavy industrial pollutants being poured into the sea near Aubagne along the coast from Marseille, and nothing is done about, then it makes a mockery of any measure that you undertake to try to clean the Med.

Most people who know about it (and that is many) think that the situation is ridiculous, and really do not take any governmental measure seriously. Great pity as the government is doing sterling work in the area. It is like trust, you allow a relatively small bit of pollution to subsist, and people loose trust in you for the rest.
